Description

The CRYSTEL study, a prospective multicentre observational study conducted across 14 centres in Nigeria, evaluated the real-world effectiveness and safety of Teleshal-H (Telmisartan + HCTZ) in 482 hypertensive patients over an 8-week period. The study demonstrated significant blood pressure reduction across both genders, with an overall reduction of 25.3 mmHg in systolic blood pressure and 12.5 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure from baseline to Visit 3.

The study further highlighted Teleshal-H’s strong clinical acceptance and favourable safety profile in routine practice. Overall, the CRYSTEL study findings support Teleshal-H as an effective, well-tolerated antihypertensive therapy capable of delivering meaningful blood pressure control, improved adherence, and high physician satisfaction in real-world clinical settings.
