Description

This case-based CME highlights the clinical approach to diagnosing and managing iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in a 35-year-old woman presenting with fatigue, dizziness, and chronic heavy menstrual bleeding. Investigations confirmed IDA secondary to menorrhagia.

The patient was treated with Hemoforce Forte, a formulation combining sodium feredetate with essential vitamins and minerals. Sodium feredetate, a next-generation oral iron salt, offers enhanced bioavailability, fewer gastrointestinal side effects, and better patient adherence compared to conventional iron supplements.

Within one month, the patient showed marked improvement in hemoglobin levels and resolution of symptoms, underscoring the clinical effectiveness and tolerability of Hemoforce Forte in managing IDA in non-pregnant women.
