Description

A double-blind randomized trial conducted at Lagos University Teaching Hospital from October 2020 to September 2021, involving 240 surgical patients found that Ceftriaxone-Tazobactam combination demonstrated a lower long-term infection rate compared to Ceftriaxone alone, suggesting it may be more effective for surgical prophylaxis.
