Description

Explore the FERARI study conducted among 337 pregnant women receiving antenatal care between May and December 2020 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Participants were given Hemoforce Plus ZincĀ® syrup (containing Ferric Sodium EDTA), and were found to have significantly improved hemoglobin levels in within three weeks, with minimal side effects and high tolerability, making it a promising alternative to conventional iron therapies for managing iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy.
